  • They aren’t sure they are ready to transition to Class A type vehicles at the moment.

What is a Class B CDL?

Class B commercial driver’s licenses allow drivers to operate vehicles such as:

  • Large straight trucks
  • Dump trucks
  • Concrete mixer trucks
  • Tow trucks
  • Utility Trucks

A Class B CDL permits the driver to operate vehicles with a gross vehicle weight (GVWR) of 26,001 pounds or greater.
